Game Pass late October: Final Fantasy VII Remake, Mouthwashing

Xbox has published the second Game Pass wave for October, and it is headlined by Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on October 29. Here's what arrives, which tier gets it, and what you should finish before it disappears. Tier names below are as Xbox lists them: Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.

Sandustry and Dodo Duckie open the wave (Oct 21–22)

Sandustry (Game Preview, PC) lands in Game Pass Premium on October 21; it is already in Ultimate and PC Game Pass. It's a factory game in fully destructible, pixel-simulated worlds where you mine and automate production chains. Dodo Duckie follows on October 22 (cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC; Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass), a puzzle platformer that lets you flip between 2D and 3D.

Also on October 21, The Elder Scrolls Online gets its free Season 2 update, Echoes of Skyrim, set in Western Skyrim with two new solo dungeons.

Scramble Knights Online and The Séance of Blake Manor (Oct 26–27)

Scramble Knights Online (Game Preview) is a day-one addition on October 26 for Ultimate and PC Game Pass: an MMO-lite action RPG you play with friends in a shared kingdom. On October 27 comes The Séance of Blake Manor (Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass), a supernatural detective mystery set in a remote Irish hotel in 1897.

The big day: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and three more (Oct 29)

October 29 is the busiest date of the month:

• Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (cloud, Series X|S, PC; Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass), the remake of the original story up to the escape from Midgar.
• Mouthwashing (cloud, Series X|S, handheld, PC; Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass), the psychological horror game confirmed after the ID@Xbox x IGN showcase.
• Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted (Ultimate, PC Game Pass via EA Play), the HD return of the classic with new levels.
• Terrible Lizards (day one; Ultimate, PC Game Pass), a horror parkour game where you run rather than fight.

Pit of Goblin closes it out (Nov 3)

Pit of Goblin (cloud, Series X|S, PC; Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass) arrives on November 3. It's an online co-op horror game about scavenging dungeons as a goblin. The same day, a World of Tanks Modern Armor perk bundle with repair kits, med kits and fire suppressors lands for all tiers, including Essential. A The Finals welcome pack (500 Multibucks, a 25% XP boost and a cosmetic set) is available now.

Leaving on October 31 and November 10

Finish these before October 31: Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, Grim Fandango Remastered, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Wartales and Wildgate. Football Manager 26 (PC and Console Edition) leaves on November 10. Xbox says these games are discounted for members who want to buy them before they leave.
