Editorial & corrections policy
How LandGadget chooses, sources, writes, updates and corrects its stories.
Independence
LandGadget decides what to cover on editorial grounds only. No company pays for coverage, rankings or placement. We do not publish sponsored rankings, made-up scores or claims of hands-on testing we did not do. If we ever publish sponsored or affiliate content, it will be clearly labelled.
Sourcing
News stories are based on primary sources — official announcements, filings, regulators, research papers — or on reputable publications, which we name and link. Claims are attributed ("the company says…"). We do not publish unverified rumours unless they are newsworthy and clearly labelled as such.
Writing and images
Articles are written in our own words; we never copy other outlets. Cover images are real photos from official press kits or freely licensed sources, credited under each image. We never use AI-generated images as news photos.
Updates
Guides and explainers are revised when products, standards or rules change. Every article shows when it was published and, if revised, when it was last updated.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly. Factual corrections are made in the article and the last-updated date is changed; significant corrections are noted at the end of the article. Minor typos are fixed without a note.
