Amazon Luna games in Prime Video reach 12 more countries
Prime members in Canada, France, Italy and Spain can now play Luna games in Prime Video on Fire TV, with Germany, Poland and six more countries due in November.

Amazon is pushing its cloud gaming service deeper into its video app. Prime members with a Fire TV in Canada, France, Italy and Spain can now find and play Luna games directly inside the Prime Video app, Amazon announced. The feature launched in the US and UK in July.
How it works
Open Prime Video on a Fire TV and go to the new Games tab. The games stream from Amazon's servers, so there is nothing to download or buy and no console or gaming PC is needed. Amazon says the library included with Prime costs nothing extra and will keep changing.
Titles named in the announcement include Star Wars: Galactic Racer, Hogwarts Legacy, Sonic X Shadow Generations and Assassin's Creed Mirage, plus casual games such as Bluey: The Videogame, Goat Simulator, Dispatch and Wobbly Life. Amazon also highlights tie-ins with its shows: alongside the animated Batman: Caped Crusader, Prime Video now offers the game Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles.
There is also GameNight, a set of party games including Clue, Ticket to Ride, Taboo and King of Tokyo. Players join by scanning a QR code and use their smartphones as controllers, so a group does not need extra gamepads.

What to keep in mind
Cloud gaming depends on your connection: a stable, fast home network matters more than the TV. If your Fire TV sits far from the router, a mesh Wi-Fi system can help. And remember that streamed games are a licence, not a copy you own, which is exactly the issue behind the Power to the Players Act debate. For game nights with sound, our gaming headset guide covers the basics.
