At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, Alfa Romeo unveiled Cuorerosso, a concept the brand calls a design manifesto rather than a preview of a specific production model. The name blends cuore (heart) and rosso (red).

Size and shape

Cuorerosso is a 2+2 coupé: 4,700 mm long, 1,980 mm wide, 1,331 mm high, on a 2,930 mm wheelbase, with a claimed kerb weight of 1,750 kg. Alfa quotes an aerodynamic coefficient (Cx) of 0.28, helped by a continuous body shape, truncated tail (Coda Tronca) and a low diffuser.

Signature cues return in new form: the Scudetto grille as part of the Trilobo face, a wedge line along the flank, rear-hinged doors, flush glass and forged wheels that reinterpret the classic “telephone dial” pattern. The exterior colour is Liquid Ink Red.

Cabin and tech ideas

Inside, Alfa highlights a driver-centric layout with four individual seats, a “Cannocchiale Vivente” instrument cluster that can merge into a single racing-style display, steer-by-wire, and a “Magma Display” control island on the tunnel. Drive modes are labelled Cruise, Sport and Quadrifoglio.

Multi-energy, not one powertrain

Alfa says future models could span full-electric, plug-in hybrid, mild hybrid and full hybrid on flexible architectures up to about 4.7 m, including possible Quadrifoglio versions. For the concept's performance idea, the brand describes a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 full hybrid with Q4 all-wheel drive, a torque-converter automatic and a carbon-fibre driveshaft — presented as a direction for driving pleasure, not a confirmed production specification.

CEO Santo Ficili framed Cuorerosso around Bellezza Necessaria (“Necessary Beauty”): cutting the superfluous so aesthetics, function, technology and quality serve emotion at the wheel.
