The launch trailer is less mystery, more countdown — Rockstar is selling the final stretch to November 19.

Rockstar Games published the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer on 15 October, according to its official VI trailer hub. The page dates the clip and highlights the debut of the song “Flower in a Hurricane” from original score composers Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

Rockstar also notes the trailer plays best on PS5 and points to PlayStation feature pages for console-specific benefits. Separate from the short launch trailer, the same hub still lists longer prior videos, including an extended look from August 2026 and earlier numbered trailers.

Why this trailer matters now

GTA VI is scheduled to launch on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S — about five weeks after this clip. A “launch trailer” this close to ship usually shifts marketing from world-building teases to “this is the game you’re about to buy.” Rockstar has not used this page to restate every platform detail beyond the PS5 playback note and existing store links; treat other storefront pages as the source of truth for SKUs and editions.

What we are not inventing

We have not played the build shown in the trailer, and Rockstar’s post does not publish a full feature checklist or review scores. The safe takeaways are the ones Rockstar put on the page: a new official launch trailer, a named score track debut, and a release window that is now measured in weeks, not years.

If you care about day-one performance, wait for platform holders’ own storage, features and edition pages closer to launch — and for hands-on coverage from outlets that actually run the game.
