CMF, Nothing's budget brand, launches its first speakers: Speaker M and Speaker S
Both Bluetooth speakers are IP68-rated, use Bluetooth 6.0 and promise up to 18 hours of playback, priced at $109 and $59.

CMF, the more affordable sub-brand of Nothing, has announced its first portable speaker lineup: the CMF Speaker M and the smaller CMF Speaker S. Both lean on the brand's customizable, playful design and are now on sale globally.
Two sizes
- CMF Speaker M uses a dedicated woofer and tweeter with a combined 35W RMS output.
- CMF Speaker S uses a single 45mm full-range driver rated at 10W RMS.
Shared features
Both speakers support:
- Bluetooth 6.0
- IP68 dust and water resistance
- Up to 18 hours of claimed playback per charge
- Sound modes including Ultra Bass, Wide Soundstage, a custom EQ and Night Mode
- NFC pairing
- An Auracast-based Party Mode for linking multiple speakers
Auracast is a Bluetooth LE Audio broadcast feature that lets one source stream to many receivers at once, so compatible speakers can play the same audio together.
They come in four colors: White, Dark Grey, Orange and Turquoise.
Which one to consider
The two models target different uses. The Speaker M's separate woofer and tweeter and higher 35W output make it the better candidate for filling a room or an outdoor gathering. The Speaker S is the more portable option with a single driver and 10W output, suited to a desk, a kitchen or a bag. Because both share the same Bluetooth version, water resistance and party-mode support, you can mix one of each and link them together.
Price and availability
- CMF Speaker S: $59 / £49 / €59
- CMF Speaker M: $109 / £99 / €99
Both are available from nothing.tech and selected retail partners.
Our take
Bluetooth 6.0, IP68 protection and Auracast support are notable for speakers at these prices. Playback time and output figures come from CMF; we haven't tested either model yet.
