Indie publisher Raw Fury and developer Behold Studios have released Deep Dish Dungeon on Xbox Game Pass (day one), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud, Xbox on PC and Steam. The title is Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox handheld verified, according to the launch release.

What it is

Behold Studios — known for Knights of Pen & Paper and Chroma Squad — built a dungeon crawler that mixes exploration, scavenging and camp crafting. You move through handcrafted corridors solo or with up to two friends, gather resources, craft tools and cook meals that affect stats, then return to camp between runs.

Key points from the publisher:

  • Build, craft and cook — forage in the dungeon, then unlock recipes with different effects.
  • Handcrafted dungeon — puzzles, varied enemies and secrets rather than a pure roguelike loop (as described by Raw Fury).
  • Co-op — up to three players total.

Platforms

Availability today: Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud, Xbox on PC and Steam PC. The studio is based in Toronto (founded in Brasília) and published under Raw Fury’s indie slate.

We have not played Deep Dish Dungeon; the feature list above is from the official Games Press / Raw Fury announcement.

Context

Raw Fury’s slate already includes titles such as the Kingdom series, Blue Prince and Cassette Beasts. Putting Deep Dish Dungeon on day-one Game Pass is a familiar indie path to a large Xbox audience on launch day, while Steam covers PC players outside the subscription.
