Chery Automobile and Bosch have signed a project agreement in Paris covering Chery’s first localised ADAS programme for Europe, Gasgoo reported on 14 October 2026. The systems are due on six new Chery models.

What’s in the package

According to Gasgoo, the programme covers Bosch’s fourth-generation multipurpose camera (MPC4) and an integrated driving-and-parking system built around that camera.

Mass production is scheduled to start in 2028. Over a five-year cycle, projected output exceeds 800,000 units — a production forecast, not confirmed sales. The reports do not name the six models or their powertrains.

Why Europe localisation matters

Chinese brands expanding in Europe increasingly need ADAS stacks that match local testing, certification and road rules. Gasgoo notes Bosch is pushing overseas ADAS work through localised engineering and validation. Bosch also said its MPC4 series has nominations on more than 50 models and orders above 10 million units — company figures cited by Gasgoo.
