Dispatch, AdHoc Studio's episodic comedy about a former superhero working the phones at a hero dispatch centre, is coming to phones. In its one-year anniversary post, the studio says the game will launch on iOS, Android and Google Play Games on PC on 9 December 2026.

The details

  • Price: the first four episodes are free; the full game unlocks for a one-time $19.99 (prices vary by region).
  • What you get: the base game, rebuilt for touch and vertical play.
  • Where: every region where the PC and console versions are sold, except China and Japan.
  • Pre-orders: pre-registration is open on Google Play; App Store pre-orders are "coming soon".

AdHoc also says Dispatch has passed five million players in its first year. Deluxe Edition owners get two new modes free today: Commentary, with more than 16 hours of cast and crew tracks, and Storyboard, which plays the whole game as its original animatics. Others can buy the Deluxe upgrade for $10.99.

Our take

Dispatch is a natural fit for phones. It is a choice-driven story with light management in between, not a twitch shooter, and vertical play suits short sessions on a commute. Making half the game free is a smart hook: by episode four, most players know whether they want to see how the shift ends. The big unknown is performance on older phones, since AdHoc hasn't published minimum specs yet.
