On this page
Alpha Nomos, a rhythm-action roguelite from RibCage Games, came out on 12 October on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
How it plays
Combat follows the music. You time attacks, dodges and abilities to the soundtrack, and each run builds into a different set of skills, as you would expect from a roguelite. If you liked Hi-Fi Rush or Crypt of the NecroDancer, this belongs on your list.
Price and details
- Price: $17.99, with 10% off until 24 October.
- Languages: 23.
- Interest before launch: the studio reported more than 20,000 wishlists.
Our take
Rhythm games tend to live or die on the soundtrack, and launch impressions are mostly about the music. The price is low for a launch release, and the discount makes it an easy one to try this month.
