Samsung has published the details of the Galaxy S26 FE, the "Fan Edition" of its 2026 flagship line. It is the first Galaxy S26 phone to ship with One UI 9.

Long-term support

The headline is support length. Samsung promises seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, which matches its premium models. It also quotes up to 29 hours of video playback, and the phone keeps wireless charging.

Galaxy AI features

  • Now Brief gathers calendar events, weather and daily highlights into one view.
  • Now Nudge offers context-aware suggestions. For example, it can add a date mentioned in a chat to your calendar or bring up a related photo.

Camera features

Samsung lists Nightography for low light, Super Steady video with Horizontal Lock, Photo Assist editing and My FanCam, which keeps one person in focus at concerts or matches.

What's missing

Samsung Malaysia's announcement does not include full hardware specs or a price. We will update this story when regional pricing is confirmed.
