Hyundai in Paris: all-new BAYON, refreshed TUCSON and the electric STARIA Cargo
Hyundai's Paris stand brought a new BAYON with a 138 PS hybrid, a TUCSON with a 17-inch screen and a STARIA Cargo EV van with up to 450 km of WLTP range on an 800 V platform.

Hyundai showed three products at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October. It also announced several plans for the brand in Europe.
All-new BAYON
The second-generation BAYON B-SUV adopts a more upright SUV design. Hyundai says it offers more comfort than its class would suggest. A 1.6-litre hybrid with 138 PS will join the range in 2027.
TUCSON for Europe
The European TUCSON and TUCSON N Line get a hybrid with 245 PS, a plug-in hybrid with 292 PS and a new 17-inch central display.
STARIA Cargo goes electric
The van with the most practical appeal is the STARIA Cargo Electric. Hyundai lists:
- an 84 kWh battery and a 160 kW (218 PS) motor;
- up to 450 km WLTP range;
- an 800 V system with 10–80% charging in about 20 minutes;
- 1,040 kg payload, 2,000 kg towing and 5.46 m³ of cargo space.
The bigger picture
Hyundai also confirmed a UEFA Champions League partnership. It plans to invest more than €3 billion in Europe by 2030, and it is exploring a wider rollout with Waymo. The company did not give prices for any of the new cars in Paris.
