Audi A2 e-tron in Paris: 646 km of range and a 0.24 drag coefficient

The name A2 is back at Audi, and this time it belongs to an electric compact. The A2 e-tron had its world premiere on 7 September. The Paris Motor Show was its first big public outing.
Efficiency first
The original A2 was famous for its aerodynamics, and Audi is playing on that again. The company quotes a drag coefficient of 0.24. WLTP consumption starts at 12.8 kWh/100 km, and the official range is up to 646 km. That beats much of the compact EV segment, and it comes from a small car rather than a big battery.
Built for Europe
Audi says it builds the A2 e-tron in Ingolstadt for European buyers. Orders opened on 10 September. Prices in Germany start at €38,200, and deliveries in Europe begin in December 2026.
Our take
There are now more compact premium EVs to choose from. With its range figure, the A2 e-tron is one of the most efficient cars in that group on paper. The next questions are real-world winter range and charging curves, and we will look at both once test cars are on the road.
